The longest of all of the York Beaches, Long sands hits so many checkmarks. From its sea of sand, the rocky bookends, and the historic buildings behind them - this beach is a dream.
Beautiful Backdrop
The sea is vast at this spot - which makes it the perfect background if you're looking that traditional Beach shoot. The waves are mild, so dipping your feet in, won't soak you or knock you over (Unless of course there's a storm passing by)
Rocks
This smooth beach is sandwiches between the most beautiful rocks. These rocks are scattered enough for you to be able to walk through safely, and explore all of the little tide pools, and the ocean creatures that get stuck there. They also make for a beautiful photoshoot.
